摘要： Thiscasereportdescribesindetailanerosivedistaldiaphysealpseudotumorthatoccurred6yearsafteracomplexendoprosthetichingetotalkneearthroplasty(TKA).AfemalepatienthadconversionofakneefusiontoanendoprosthetichingeTKAattheageof62.Atherscheduled6-yearfollow-up,shepresentedwithmilddistalthighpainandradiographsshowinga6-7cmerosivelyticdiaphyseallesionthatlookedverysuspiciousforaneoplasticprocess.Anenblocresectionofthedistalfemurandfemoralendoprosthesiswasperformed.Histologicreviewshowedthemasstobeapseudotumorwiththeweardebrisemanatingfromwithinthefemoralcanalduetodistalstemloosening.Wededucethatmechanizedstemabrasioncreatedmicroscopictitaniumalloyparticlesthatescapedviaasmalldiaphysealcrackandstimulatedaninflammatoryresponseresultinginaperiostealerosivepseudotumor.Themainlessonofthisreportisthat,inthefaceofajointreplacementsurgeryoftheknee,pseudotumorformationisamorelikelydiagnosisthananeoplasticprocesswhenencounteringanexpandingbonymass.Thus,abiopsypriortoenblocresection,wouldbeourrecommendedcourseofactionanytimeasuspiciousmassisencounteredclosetoaTKA. ... （共6页）
