摘要： Manynativeplantsintraditionalmedicinehavebeenusedforthetreatmentofcutaneousleishmaniasisandtherecentclinicaltrialshaveproventheefficacyofsomeofthem.Researchesconductedontheseplantshaveshownthatgarlic,shallots,wormwood,yarrow,walnuts,thyme,hennaplant,mimosa,aloe,woodbetony,medlar,periwinkle,yeah,savory,blackbeans,etc.areefectiveoncutaneousleishmania.SyntheticagentsinIranianmarkethavesomedisadvantagessuchashighcostandsideefectsandarepainfulininjections.Giventheefectivenessoftheseplants,theycanbeasourceofnaturalandsafecompoundsforthetreatmentofLeishmania.Therefore,moreclinicalresearchesshouldbedonetodeterminetheefectivenessandsafetyofthesemedicinalplants,theiractiveingredientsandtheirpossibletoxicsubstanceswhichcanleadtotheproductionofefectiveandsafedrugsforleishmaniasis.Italsomightbeanefectivewaytoprepareherbalointmentonwoundhealing. ... （共7页）
